While road maps are useful for tracking patterns, every round of baccarat is completely independent and random. Past patterns do not guarantee future outcomes — use road maps as a guide, not a prediction tool.
Ask any Malaysian casino player which table game they enjoy most, and the answer is almost always Baccarat. Not just because it's easy to pick up, but because it offers a combination rarely found in other games – simple gameplay, a low house edge, and fast results. At Minions88, we understand Malaysian players' love for baccarat, which is why we offer more baccarat variants and tables than any other game on our platform.
Baccarat available at Minions88 follows the Punto Banco format — the most widely played version of baccarat worldwide, including in major casinos across Asia. In this format, you do not need to make any in-play decisions the way you would in Blackjack. The rules governing when a third card is drawn are fixed and automatic — both Banker and Player follow preset rules to determine whether a third card is required. Your only job is to choose where to place your bet before the cards are dealt.
The best bet in baccarat is on the Banker – the house edge is just 1.06% compared to 1.24% for the Player. Even with the 5% commission on Banker wins, it is statistically still the better bet in the long run. Avoid the Tie bet unless you do not mind a higher house edge in exchange for an 8:1 payout.
One feature highly valued by baccarat players at Minions88 is the availability of a live road map during gameplay. This road map records every previous round result in an easy-to-read visual format. Many experienced baccarat players use it to spot patterns — though it's worth noting that each round is independent and random, it still provides a useful snapshot of how the game has been flowing at a particular table.
Speed Baccarat is one of the most popular variants at Minions88 because it cuts each round down to just 27 seconds. In standard baccarat, a single round takes around 48 seconds to a minute. With Speed Baccarat, that time is nearly halved – the dealer deals all cards face-up from the start, skipping the lengthy card-reveal phase. This means within an hour, you can join far more rounds than in a standard format, giving you more chances to win.
For players seeking a more dramatic and immersive experience, Baccarat Squeeze at Minions88 is a choice that will not disappoint. In this variant, the dealer reveals the cards slowly in a "squeeze" style — bending the edges first to uncover the value little by little, building extraordinary tension before the final result is announced. This is how players at traditional land-based casinos experience baccarat, and now you can feel it for yourself from home via HD live stream on Minions88.
No Commission Baccarat is an appealing variant for those who are not keen on the 5% commission deducted from Banker wins. In this variant, no commission is charged – you receive the full 1:1 payout on all Banker wins. The trade-off is that when the Banker wins with a total of 6, the payout is reduced to 0.5:1 (half) in place of the commission. For players who frequently bet large amounts on the Banker, No Commission Baccarat can deliver meaningful savings over time.
